The Gildan Heavy Cotton 5000 is a crew neck tee made from a 50/50 cotton-polyester blend at 180gsm. The blended fabric combines cotton’s natural softness with polyester’s shape retention and resistance to shrinking, giving it a more consistent fit over time compared to pure cotton shirts. The poly content also helps the fabric resist wrinkles and hold dye more evenly, which shows in the rich, muted tones across the colour range.

A seamless double-needle 7/8″ collar sits flat without bunching, while taped neck and shoulders prevent stretching. Double-needle stitching on the bottom hem reinforces durability. The shirt is quarter-turned to eliminate the center crease for cleaner printing, and a tear-away label allows for easy rebranding with custom tags.

Available in 5 colours across unisex sizes S to 2XL. The colour palette leans toward deeper, more subdued tones — Lilac, Tweed, Russet, Graphite Heather, and Midnight — offering options that sit outside the typical bright-colour range.
